The all-new Executive 1850 is the logical extension of our 1700 series. The exterior have been designed by John van Leeuwen in cooperation with yacht designer Arnold de Ruyter. The interior design was created by Bart van den Hoven himself. The curvaceous lines give the side view an even more stylish appearance. The 1850 is available both with and without a flybridge.
The overall concept is carefully considered: elegant with lots of space, Van den Hoven build quality with a superb finish, and made of steel so that all client wishes can be realised. What’s more, the price is highly competitive in its segment. The yacht is designed for Van den Hoven owners who would like to buy a larger boat as well as for people who wish to spend many sailing hours on a true Dutch quality yacht without paying over the odds.
The Executive 1800 leverages on all the benefits and experience of its sister vessels in the Van den Hoven fleet and then goes a step further. A striking example is the capacity to close off the entire aft deck by means of a practical yet luxurious awning set-up so that it can still be used when the weather is less pleasant.
The outside decks have a natural walking flow and the flybridge can add a whole new dimension to the sailing experience. With a small outdoor kitchen, fridge, comfortable settees and an extra steering position, this area is the equivalent of a rooftop terrace. Protection from the sun can be provided by a stylish, practical bimini.
There is a great deal of space on this yacht, as is typical for Van den Hoven, with the engine compartment placed entirely aft. The Executive 1850 features three luxurious cabins, two large bathrooms with toilet and one separate day head, a large living area and a modern galley. The yacht is equipped with two Volvo Penta 300 hp engines and stabilisers. And, as reflected by its CE certification A, it is perfectly suited for the open sea.
The interior layout of this beautiful yacht can be defined fully in accordance with the owners’ wishes. All types of wood, colours, materials and types of fabrics belong to the possibilities. You can also choose more bathrooms or fewer bedrooms, for instance. In short, the interior design is entirely up to your own taste and we would be pleased to discuss the possibilities.
The 1850 provides even more sailing comfort than the 1700, due not only to its length but also the fitting of electirc stabilisers as standard. The underwater segment is already of course designed for high initial stability.
The entire engine room features high-quality insulation and is finished with white perforated aluminium plate. Vibrations are eliminated as much as possible by the heavy, solid hull frame and the transmission from the engine to the axle, as well as the constant-velocity link. In addition, the bulkhead between the engine and the interior is made of 4 mm steel and anti-reverberation insulation makes for a virtually vibration-free vessel.
