On Saturday 12 September Van den Hoven held its seventh Open Day, a special number for a special edition that was blessed with excellent weather. People enjoyed each other’s company and some fine catering while exploring yachts at various stages of construction. Throughout the day we welcomed well over a hundred guests.
It was also an ideal occasion to formally hand over the new Executive 2400 to the Snoeck family. There was an emotional moment when Mieke Snoeck took the microphone and, on behalf of herself and her husband Piet, gave thanks for the smooth cooperation and outstanding final result.
As always at our Open Day, there was lots to see and do. The newly completed 2400 naturally attracted a great deal of attention, and many visitors were also interested in the steel hull of the facelifted 1700 Mk2.
The third Voyager 50 Coupé, which can be delivered to new owners in the spring, was already fitted with the revolutionary DMS All-In-One stabilisers. Rens van Hal from DMS Holland was at the Open Day to explain and demonstrate how this unique system works. There was also the chance for visitors to chat with experts at the stands set up by Hull Vane, DMS Holland, Raymarine, Mastervolt, Ecodeck and ASA. See for yourself our video of the 2026 Open Day.
