Executive 2100

The new Executive 2100 is the flagship of Van den Hoven’s popular Executive line, which also includes the 1500 Mk2 and 1700 Mk2 and 1850.

Elegant and spacious

Like the other models, the 2100’s elegant exterior is designed by Arnold de Ruiter, while the interior is the work of Bart van den Hoven. The dynamic and elegant lines create a timeless appearance, which will still be turning heads many years from now.

As Van den Hoven builds in steel, we can bring more or less all the wishes of a new owner to life. Especially the layout can be perfectly tailored to your every taste. While the first 2100 ordered does not have a flybridge – the owner wishes to have an even lower vertical clearance to expand his sailing range within Europe – the 2100 can certainly be built with one should you require.

The Executive 2100 is expected to mainly be sailed within Europe. As the mast can be folded down and the vertical clearance is relatively low at 3.85 metres, it can pass under most bridges. The yacht has an especially stylish appearance thanks to the extensive use of stainless steel. Sailing comfort is guaranteed by stabilisers in the form of hydraulic fins and two John Deer diesel engines of 330 hp each. The vessel also boasts a comprehensive hydraulic package.

We expect to deliver the first 2100 in late summer 2019.

Luxury and comfort in focus

As the Executive 2100 is created with frequent use in mind, space and comfort are at the heart of its design. The first 2100 will have a single, very large owner’s suite with a walk-in closet and generous bathroom. As the yacht is intended for long trips, the forward area is designated for storage. If there should be a need later, this space can be converted into a second cabin. Stepping aboard you’ll immediately notice the spaciousness of the design, enhanced by 360-degree views from the salon. Large windows let in an abundance of light, while wide gangways allow for comfortable walking around the superstructure.

The large foredeck is ideal for socialising, and includes a comfortable seating

area from where to enjoy the view, glass in hand. The aft deck features a relaxed semi-circular sofa that seats five, with great views sideways and aft. The extended roof enables al fresco dining in the shade. At the end of each hallway are elegant stairs leading down to the large swim platform and engine room door.

Come inside

The entrance from the aft deck to the saloon is framed by a striking stainless steel facade of remarkable quality and with a detailed finish (click here for a quick view), underlining the fact that no expenses were spared on board. The doors can be opened individually and folded sideways for an optimal sense of space.

The interior is serene and accessible. Everything is in the right place and the routing feels streamlined and natural. The large windows offer a 360-degree view when enjoying a drink on the comfortable settees inside.

The galley and steering position forward are fully equipped. Because all these areas are on the same level, contact between the guests is easily maintained.

Sense of wellbeing

Longer journeys become a more personal experience when you feel that the yacht was built just for you, with all the amenities you need, where you need them.


A sense of peace prevails as Van den Hoven has reduced the sound levels and engine resonance as much as possible via extensive soundproofing measures. The entire engine room is fitted with high-quality engine room insulation and finished in white aluminium perforated plating.


Double glazing, beds, chairs, stairs, soft materials: all these elements together enhance the atmosphere of quality and comfort. We will naturally always consult with you to ensure everything is in accordance with your personal tastes.


Van den Hoven has also taken various measures to ensure the yacht is virtually vibration-free. These include:

  • Steel wall with anti-rumble paste between engine room and accommodations


The initial stability of the underwater segment further enhances sailing comfort, while excellent manoeuvrability makes mooring the vessel as easy as can be.
