Third Voyager 50 Coupé build well underway

Fresh from our summer holidays we launched into construction of the third Voyager 50 Coupé. She will join a successful Voyager family that already includes the 56 Fly, 61 Fly, 71 Fly and 80 Fly.

All is going to plan on this latest member of the VDH fleet, part of a series developed specifically for demanding sailors who appreciate higher speeds, optimal use of space and, above all, our renowned ‘Dutch Built’ quality

Will you be the owner?

The third Voyager 50 Coupé should be ready for delivery to her new owners at the end of this year.

The superb images and video on this page are from one of her two sister ships. At this stage in the build you can still choose items such as the upholstery and hull colour livery. We’d also be pleased to discuss various other options with you..

Will Van den Hoven be present at BOOT Düsseldorf?

Yes. Certainly! However, not with a stand. Michelle van den Hoven will be at the show from Sunday, January 18 to Tuesday January 21 inclusive. So, if you’d like to learn more about this third Voyager 50 Coupé please contact Michelle van den Hoven. Michelle can tell you all about this superb boat and about our other motoryachts such as the 1700 Mk2, Voyager 56 Fly and 61 Fly. She will also gladly give you an early insight at BOOT Düsseldorf into an exciting all-new 16.50-metre project for which the first designs are now complete.

Making life easy

The Voyager 50 Coupé is exceptionally easy to sail, manoeuvre, dock and operate. She is therefore an excellent weekender for short speedy trips, while at the same time the high standards of onboard comfort make her equally ideal for longer stays onboard.

The spacious aft deck invites you to enjoy outdoor living to the max, while the wide gangways will ensure you a smooth walk from bow to stern – a key feature for couples planning to visit lots of different harbours. The foredeck offers relaxing sunbeds and a comfortable sofa… It’s a wonderful spot for up to eight people to raise a glass or two as the sun sets on another day of fun.

Spacious and stylish interior

A vertical windscreen makes the saloon feel noticeably more spacious than comparable boats. The large side windows guarantee plenty of light plus 360-degree panoramic views of the outside world. The main deck interior comfortably accommodates up to eight passengers and the atmospheric salon is home to a dinette, a well-equipped galley and the helm station. Having all these key spaces located on the same level on the same deck makes the Voyager 50 Coupé a cozy environment for you and yours.

Galley and helm

Whether you want to prepare a quick snack or an elaborate lunch or dinner, the galley of the Voyager 50 Coupé is very well equipped with high-quality appliances. Of course, at this stage of the build you can still specify your individual preferences. There is ample storage space for longer journeys, and while cooking you always have an all-round view and remain close to the captain.

The helm is fitted with the latest equipment and offers excellent all-round visibility. The helm seat is very comfortable and fully adjustable, ensuring you remain fit and comfortable even during longer trips.

Below deck

Everything has been meticulously thought through on the lower deck too, with a comfortable owner’s suite and two well-appointed double guest cabins. A perfect sense of proportion ensures that six people can stay overnight in considerable comfort. The master cabin has an ensuite bathroom while a separate bathroom is set aside for the guests to share. Both are luxuriously fitted with a spacious shower and toilet.

Beneath the aft

In the transom is a generous storage compartment with an electrically operated hatch. Ideal for bicycles, water skis, SUP boards or other toys, you could also install a washing machine, dryer or other additional appliances in this space.
This third 50 Coupé is being fitted with a hydraulic swimming platform that can be lowered well into the water. This area also gives access to the neatly arranged engine room, designed to allow you easy access to all components whenever required.

Sense of space

The layout of the Voyager 50 Coupé is well thought out. There is ample headroom throughout, and everywhere you get the feeling of being on a larger yacht. The salon also houses the helm station and the galley, ensuring everyone stays connected, even while cruising.

Below deck, there is accommodation for 6 people, divided over three comfortable cabins. The aft deck features a generous dinette also for 6 people. From the aft deck, two gentle stairways lead down to the hydraulic swim platform, which also provides access to the spacious storage area and the engine room.

Making Europe accessible everywhere

Thanks to the Voyager 50’s low air draft, you can cruise throughout Europe, with low bridges rarely posing an obstacle. Sailing from the Merwede to Dinant is a beautiful, long journey through the Netherlands and Belgium. Along the way, you travel via the Boven Merwede, Amer and the River Maas, eventually reaching Dinant in Belgium—a route that passes numerous marinas and varied landscapes, requiring navigation through locks and different waterways.

Partly due to the choice of an innovative air-conditioning system that operates far more efficiently, overall comfort is at a very high level. Noise and vibrations are kept to a minimum, and the stabilizers provide a safe and stable cruising experience.

Sailing further in comfort

The performance of the Voyager 50 Coupé has proven to be excellent, with a high level of safety and stability. Powered by twin 480 hp engines, her top speed of 22 knots brings more distant destinations within easy reach. The yacht is perfect for sailing around Scandinavia or, say, exploring the multifaceted Brittany coast with its charming old harbour towns and numerous Morbihan islands. Wherever you choose to cruise your journey will be as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Talking of comfort, this yacht is being fitted with an innovative air conditioning system that will offer an impressively efficient operation. Noise and vibrations are kept to a minimum while the stabilizers ensure a safe and steady experience.
