Executive 2400 taking shape for summer
Excellent progress is being made on the construction of the new Executive 2400 and we expect to deliver her to the new owners in July 2026. She will feature an all-new modernised design of the hull windows that will offer an even sleeker and extended look to the yacht. Once launched, the new owners will also enjoy enhanced views on the outside world from below deck while the large windows flood their suites with extra daylight. This upgrade further boosts the stylish ambience of the 2400, which includes a super-spacious aft deck spanning six by five metres. Two glass partition walls ensure that guests can sit comfortably here sheltered from the wind without any intrusion on the overall sense of space and openness.
Loyal Van den Hoven client
The order for this fully custom-built 24-metre motoryacht came from a valued client who had previously commissioned the Van den Hoven Executive 2100 Chihuahua in 2019. Prior to that he was the proud owner of a Van den Hoven Executive 1700 and, as with his previous yachts, the new Executive 2400 will be built without a flybridge. With a maximum height of 3.90 metres, almost all European bridges can be passed without any issues.
Convenience for the captain
While this spacious vessel has easily enough room for separate crew quarters, the owners will operate her themselves. To make life easy therefore she is being fully equipped for comfortable cruising with a range of systems that facilitate simple manoeuvring and docking.
For example, the yacht will be fitted with fully hydraulic systems, including bow- and sternthrusters, stabilizers and anchor winches. The owners have also chosen electrically operated spud poles.
An ocean of living space
A spacious interior has again been a priority for these repeat clients and the design and layout reflect this superbly. The below-deck area has a ‘superyacht feel’, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms offering exceptionally comfortable accommodation. It is here that the new large windows mentioned above come into their own, allowing in abundant light and providing a perfect vista of the scenery being explored.
