In addition to new builds, maintenance and repair work, Van den Hoven is regularly asked to carry out refits. This was recently the case with a Van den Hoven Exclusive 1600, which was thoroughly revamped by Van den Hoven in 2025.
The new owner of the Exclusive 1600, which was originally launched way back in 2002, bought his motoryacht last year and was so enthusiastic about the vessel that he decided to have her completely adapted to his personal tastes and preferences. Highlights of this comprehensive refit included having new spud poles installed, creating an all-new bathroom, fitting a new air conditioning system and adding state-of-the-art Raymarine navigation screens.
