The first Executive 1700 Mk2 was delivered to her proud owners in 2018. Five years on and we’ll be launching the fifth model in this exciting line in the summer. It’s a unique chance for you to feel what it’s like to be owners of a much-loved motoryacht that owes her popularity to an exceptional versatility. The 1700 Mk2 is still one of our most successful models. It is mainly the total concept that the owners are enthusiastic about. It is the combination of space, comfort, design, efficiency and ease of sailing that makes this model successful.

Recognisable concept

The design of the Executive 1700 Mk2 is very much in line with the style of the Executive series as a whole, which now numbers a fleet some twenty strong. New design methods and the evolution of the underwater ship have enabled us to give this latest 1700 Mk2 the ideal combination of faster speeds and fuel consumption savings. That brings longer passages within easy reach in shorter times and at lower costs. All Executive models are based on the same philosophy: a truly comfortable motoryacht with a superior performance and lots of interior space for longer stays onboard.

Exploring Europe

Capable of passing most bridges, the 1700Mk2 is highly suitable for cruising European rivers and coastal waters. With a clearance of just 3.70 metres, your range is almost without limits. You could, for instance, sail from the Netherlands to Austria, or cruise the German rivers enroute to explore the Baltic Sea and visit Denmark or Sweden. Or how about a trip down the Moselle or Meuse in France? The 1700Mk2 is the perfect yacht for such memorable voyages.

More than fully equipped

The layout of the 1700Mk2 features a galley, saloon and steering position on the same deck level for optimal practicality and socialising. Check out the photos of her sister yacht here. In addition, she features a master suite with bathroom and two guest cabins with a shared bathroom. The gangways are sufficiently spacious to ensure you can safely and smooth walk from fore to aft. The large and perfectly laid out aft deck is ideal for al fresco lounging and dining with loved ones, while the spacious foredeck includes a comfortable lounge sofa to enjoy wide views over the water.

There are various changes that can still be made during the final stage of construction and we’d be happy to discuss these with you. Naturally, we will continue to put all our care and craftsmanship into the finish and details. We’ve also given a lot of thought to the logistics of the yacht and you’re sure to quickly feel at home. 17-18 June 2023: Open Weekend at Van den Hoven

Spring will surely be in the air on the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 June as Van den Hoven Jachtbouw opens wide its doors to all who’d like to see our yachts in person and learn more about how we serve our clients. It’s a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers for the coming season, hear about the latest gadgets and share tips for fresh adventures.

We’ll be paying extra attention to the new Voyager series which has been a real hit among our current clientele while also attracting a completely new set of owners. René van der Velden, the man behind the beautiful and timeless design of the series, will give a short presentation, as will Fred Dorresteijn, the naval architect responsible for the Voyager’s super-efficient hull. Both will reveal more about the philosophy behind these boats and why the Voyager series is so different from anything else on the market. Our culinary wizard Lennard will again conjure up some tasty treats and we’ll be serving fine wines, soft drinks, tea and fresh coffee.
